Award for Best Web Usability
The WebHostingSearch.com has given Period Three the Award for Best Web Usability for the month of June. In their own words:In the name of Web 2.0 we at WebHostingSearch.com are now handing out an award to one site each month that stands out from its competitors. The award is for Best Web Design with particular focus on great usability and accessibility. 21st century web design is so much more than color schemes, flashy banners and glossy buttons. Few understand the importance of usability and accessibility in web design so what better reason than to reward the ones who do.

Unmatched Style Re-launch
Today we’ve launched a brand new face for unmatchedstyle.com. We’ve aimed for a design that is clean and simple and focuses on the most important part of the site, the websites we feature every day.A couple of the things we want to bring into more focus is our podcasts and our interviews. We’ve been doing our video podcast for a couple months now, so if you haven’t yet, please check them out and let us know what you think. From our vantage point, they’ve been a fun way to get a dialogue going, we just want more people to join in. We look forward to having some guest reviewers on as well. The interviews have been a fun way to get perspectives from web professionals and we’ll be bringing you more of these soon.

Things to come: Swiftpress
We’ve been hard at work on something new. We’re working on a new release of Swiftpress. It’s a much simpler, scaled down version of our current application. We’ve had really good success with Swiftpress and want to bring it to the masses, with a similar system but with far less features. I know it sounds backwards, but just wait you’ll see how cool it is for sending your email messages quickly, simply and without large “interface overhead”.
