    Myspace killer app idea

    myspaceI’m not a huge fan of Myspace, but this caught my eye. They are enabling users to record video directly to their Myspace page using their webcam. Now this is cool. Do you think it will give them a user bump? Not that Myspace is dead or anything, by any stretch and how long do you think it will take Facebook to copy this idea?

      I’m not a MySpace user, so I can’t speak to who had it first, but I believe Facebook already allows you to record straight from your webcam. On my wall page, there is an “Add Video” link which contains a tab that says “Record Video.” I couldn’t figure out how to actually get it to work, but perhaps they don’t support the Mac’s built-in camera. Either that or I’m just challenged. More likely the latter…
